Wake Forest Arch
In 1956 when Wake Forest College moved to Winston-Salem, a dramatic symbol
of the college, the entrance arch erected as a gift from the class of 1909, was left behind. In 2006 a dream of many alumni and students came to fruition with the completion of a replica of the arch on the current campus. The three dates on the arch represent : the year Wake Forest was founded -1834; the year of the move to Winston-Salem - 1956, and the year the new arch was erected in its current home - 2006.
