Changing Crops
Changing Crops depicts a seminal moment in the North Carolina mountains. Burley tobacco has been king of these hills for hundreds of years, but in the last decade the crown has been placed firmly on the Christmas tree’s bough. While harvesting a tree for my family’s Christmas, I saw this scene just north of Boone, NC.
